A gruesome incident took place in the Andheri area of Mumbai. The financial capital of India has witnessed the murder of a 25-year-old woman, Rupal Ogrey, who was training to be an air hostess. She was originally from Chhattisgarh and was living in Andheri.
Who Was Rupal Ogrey?
On Sunday evening, a woman was found dead in her flat in Andheri, a suburb of Mumbai. She had shifted to Mumbai from Chhattisgarh in April. She was selected as an air hostess trainee by Air India. After coming to the city, she moved in with her sister, who was living with her boyfriend. However, the duo had gone to his native place for a few days.
The police have arrested a man who worked as a sweeper in the society. According to them, the 40-year-old man was connected to the murder and is currently being interrogated by the officials. In a statement, police stated that the main accused, Vikram Atwal, was arrested. Moreover, they are searching the security cameras of the building for any evidence.

Her Flat Was Locked From the Inside
The accused’s wife, who works as a housekeeper, is also being questioned. According to an NDTV report, Rupal’s family members had asked her friend to check on her after she was not picking up their calls. According to her friend, the flat was locked from the inside. The officers had to break into the flat, where they found her body lying in a pool of blood. Though she was taken to the hospital, she did not survive.
This year, Mumbai has witnessed some horrifying murder crimes that would send chills down your spine. The woman was subjected to inhumane treatment and her death was a shock to the entire nation.
After killing the woman, he tried disposing of her body in the most chilling way possible. Her body was chopped and stored in plastic tubs, buckets and other household things. These incidents are terrifying, inhumane and shocking!

A crime like murder should not go unpunished and Mumbai police are doing their best to reach the bottom of who killed Rupal Ogrey.
