Star Chef Gaggan Anand achieved an incredible #17 ranking on the World’s 50 Best List and the esteemed #5 spot on Asia’s 50 Best List in 2023. On this year’s Asia’s 50 Best List, his restaurant earned the covetable #3 spot. Chef Gaggan Anand’s culinary sanctuary has ascended to the upper echelons.

Anand relaunched a slightly altered version of his restaurant in a new location in late 2019 following multiple incarnations of his Bangkok eatery, which had previously been voted No. 1 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants a record four times. In 2023, the restaurant triumphantly returned to the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, exhibiting Anand’s ever-changing and innovative cuisine.

Gaggan’s modern Indian cuisine presents a riotous explosion of colours and textures on its more than 20-course menu. The menu brings hints of street food and traditional dishes as well as global inspirations from Thailand, France, and Japan. Sommeliers dispense natural wines to enhance the immersive experience, which seats just 14 people at a counter facing an open kitchen. The dining experience is a spectacular culinary adventure not to be missed in Bangkok. Here, promptness is rewarded with pre-dinner cocktails and communal dining encourages a sense of shared delight. It takes place amid thumping music and interactive surprises like fireworks and unplanned challenges.
