Explore Worldwide examined the volume of Google searches for over 1,700 chefs to identify the industry leaders in cooking that have won over the hearts and minds of foodies worldwide. The list includes chefs from various backgrounds in the culinary industry, including well-known YouTube channel owners, accomplished food writers, and innovative restaurateurs.
With 726,000 searches, Sanjay Thumma of the wildly popular YouTube channel @vahrehvah came in at number fourteen. From fragrant biryanis to flavorful curries and mouthwatering desserts, Thumma’s repertoire spans a diverse range of dishes. Beyond his online presence, he has also made notable appearances on television shows. On MasterChef India, Thumma, who is from Hyderabad, is a well-known face.
Among the most Googled chefs in Asia, Thumma secured the third position, followed by Kunal Kapur, Maneet Chauhan, Gaggan Anand and Madhur Jaffrey.

With an astounding 1.62 million searches this year, Singapore’s Tariq Helou is the most searched-for chef in Asia.
