Foodies! New food combos are sometimes invented out of necessity. And other times it’s invented just to try out something fun. Either way, there are more dishes to try out, so who’s complaining right? And now, we’ve scouted a list of weird yet wonderful ‘chocolate’ dishes you must try this World Chocolate Day. From Chocolate Samosa to chocolate pani puri and sushi, we’ve come tried some of the whackiest chocolate dishes in Dubai. Read on and tell us which one’s your favourite!

1. Chocolate Samosa At Dhaba Lane

Ever had samosas for dessert? Well, now you can! Dhaba Lane brings the culture of Indian roadside shacks to Dubai in an urban and chic avatar. And now, the quaint restaurant has given a tempting sweet spin to the famous savoury Indian snack, Samosa. The samosa is filled with chocolate brownie, white and milk melted chocolate, and is finished with a few gems and Kit Kat chocolate. Drool-worthy right? The savoury- dessert is priced at only 22 AED.

2. Chocolate Pani Puri At Bol Gappa

You might have eaten Pani puris stuffed with  spicy potato filling, served mint based water. But Bol Gappa does it a little differently. The restaurant coats the puris in layers of chocolate, and then stuffs it with chunks of brownies. The puri is then served with a special sweet syrup, which is prepared in house using traditional dessert recipes. Now, that’s certainly drool worthy, right? Priced at AED 19, one portion comes with six shots of chocolate pani puri. The dessert satiates people with a sweet tooth and a special love for chocolate.

3. Chocolate Burger At Tum Tum Asia

Tum Tum Asia is all about authentic pan Asian cuisine with a twist of street food from the Far East. From Dim Sums and Satays to Kebabs and Sushi, they serve up a soulful selection of the very best street bites.  It’s a foodies paradise that will take you on a journey through the Far East. For all chocolate lovers, we found you a chocolate burger (AED 35).  The chocolate burger has hot chocolate cookie bread filled with marshmallows and chocolate slice, topped with powdered sugar and hot chocolate lava. Sounds like THE burger, right?

4. Chocolate Sushi At The Vintage Chocolate Lounge

The Vintage Chocolate Lounge gives a perfect twist to the traditional sushi, by adding tonnes of chocolate to it. So if you love sushi, then you cannot miss out on this one. Besides this, satiate your sweet buds by having their chocolate shots, which again is heavenly. If you are a true fan of everything chocolate, then this place is perfect for you.

5. Chocolate Dosa At Yummy Dosa Restaurant

Nutella has finally made its way to Dosas too. An unofficial recreation of the infamous Nutella Crepe, the buttery goodness of the Nutella dosa takes this dish to another level. Yummy Dosa has been creating several varieties of the classic dosa and this one manages to stand out as a bestseller amongst dessert enthusiasts. We approve!
