Netizens Share Demand Strict Action

Mumbai Traffic Police replied to his tweet that they would share his concern with the Bandra Traffic Division for necessary stringent action. Another X user, @vikasgk shared a picture of the auto’s number plate and shared that he too faced similar hassles with this auto driver. He said that he faced a different problem with this auto driver at T2 terminal. Apparently, this auto driver initially refused to travel to Powai and asked him to disembark from the vehicle. But later “good sense prevailed” and he ferried him.

@unni1942 emphasises that double parking is an ongoing problem on Malad East roads due to the lack of footpaths. @SigmamaleMumbai says, “Well, an auto driver unafraid of anyone and liberally sprinkling profanity? They have no fear of the police. And this is the outcome.. why is the police loosing its power in front of them? An auto guy knows har patti se kaam ho jaayega. Mumbai police needs to move beyond just informing. Strict action and more than 10-15 offences should lead to cancellation of licences!! @resh1978 writes, that auto drivers have no fear of the police. She calls for strict action being taken against such drivers.
