Dubai Roads and Transport Authority is constantly trying its best to ensure that people in Dubai can travel smoothly. For this purpose, they are constantly enhancing existing routes or adding new ones that people can use. And, now, the authority has opened two new marine transport lines that will be serving residential areas in Dubai. Serving the residential areas of Dubai Creek Harbour, here’s all about the two new marine transport lines that have been introduced to the emirate.

Recently, the Dubai RTA revealed that two new lines will be introduced for marine transport in Dubai. The first line will be operating from Dubai Creek Harbour and Dubai Festival City. This will be operational on the weekends, which are Saturdays and Sundays from 4 PM to 11:55 PM. While the second line will connect Dubai Creek Harbour to Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station and Al Khor Metro Station. In fact, this line will be operational on weekdays, which will be from Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 10:50 AM and 4 PM to 10:50 PM. The fare for each stop is just AED2.
It Will Be Servicing The Dubai Creek Residence
It’s worth mentioning that both lines have been designed to connect tourist attractions in the emirate. With the development of these lines, a collaboration agreement has been signed between the RTA and the Emaar properties. So, the aim is to serve waterfront community and development projects while revamping tourist destinations and residential areas in Dubai. And these lines have been successfully meeting public demand. As a result, it’s not surprising that the numbers keep soaring. With a remarkable increase of 900%, this step is expected to further increase the number of marine transport users in Dubai.
Committed to enhancing public and tourist marine transportation services, the RTA aims to achieve these goals. In fact, the Dubai RTA will also be collaborating with real estate developers, have signed agreements that align with customer needs, and also ensure that the well-being of people in the emirate is in line with the RTA’s strategic objectives.
