1. VOX Cinema Opens 13-Screen Theatre In Jeddah

VOX cinema recently opened its 13-screen movie theatre in Jeddah Park. With this opening, the screen count has risen to 180 screens in 18 multiplexes, which is spanning across six cities. An arm of the Majid Al Futtaim, this movie theatre has cinematic concepts of private cinema, gold, and IMAX with laser technology. Moreover, the theatre in Jeddah Park is equipped with premium reclining seating in all auditoriums.

2. Qatar Airways To Begin Flights To Venice

Qatar Airways is expanding its network in 2024. It is starting flights to Venice on June 12th and began flights to Lisbon on June 6, respectively. It’s worth mentioning that the flight to Lisbon began its operations with six weekly flights from Monday to Thursday. And for this, it has deployed Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. It’s worth mentioning that seven direct weekly flights will also be operational to the city of Venice once the flight operations begin.

3. 22 Chief AI Officers Appointed By Sheikh Hamdan

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum appointed 22 Chief AI Officers. These were across several government entities in Dubai and the newly appointed officers were from a variety of departments. Yes, some of them were as follows — Dubai Police HQ, Dubai Customs Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, DEWA, Dubai Health Authority, and Government Human Resource Department.

4. Ministry of Health In Saudi Arabia Is Ready For Hajj 2024

In a recent report, it was mentioned that the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia has announced its readiness for receiving people at Hajj 2024. The integrated preparation and the new technologies will be used to offer the best healthcare to the pilgrims. For this purpose, it includes hospitals, health centres, and mobile clinics in Makkah. Not to mention, over 32,000 medical and administrative staff have been distributed across several health facilities and centres!

5. Riyadh Air Signs MoU With China Eastern

Recently, Riyadh Air has signed a Member of Understanding with China Eastern Airlines. This happened at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Annual General Meeting on June 3. With the signing of the partnership, the airlines will be able to work closely together to develop and grow connectivity in both countries. Not to mention, it is bound to strengthen the growing economic and cultural ties between China and Saudi Arabia.
