Arriving Early To Remote Check-In, DXB Issues Travel Advisory For Travellers Ahead Of The Summer Rush

With the Eid al-Adha break just around the corner, chances are that you might have already booked your tickets for the short holiday. However, if this is so, then you will certainly want to know about the important notifications released by the Dubai International Airport for the peak period. As it happens, authorities have advised people to say goodbye to their friends and family from home only. Here’s all about this and more.

DXB Issues Advisory For Travellers

According to the notification released by the DXB, it is now mandatory for residents to drop their friends and relatives at the airport. They must wait in the terminal until they complete their check-in formalities. As such, access to the arrival court in both Terminals 1 & 3 will not be given to public transport and only authorised airport vehicles will be allowed. However, this notification mentioned by the Khaleej Times is hardly surprising, as it’s also the period for the extreme summer rush. With the UAE residents getting a four-day summer break from June 15 to 18, the holidays come just before school closes for two months’ summer vacation.
