Bahrain Launches New Tourist Passport; Explore Cultural Landmarks, Beaches & More

This Eid Al Adha, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) introduces a unique adventure for tourists: the “Tourist Passport.” This new initiative aims to draw visitors into the vibrant heart of Manama, encouraging them to discover its diverse attractions.

Manama: A New Era of Tourism

Celebrating Manama’s accolade as the Capital of Gulf Tourism, the BTEA is committed to innovative tourism experiences. The Tourist Passport exemplifies their dedication to enhancing Bahrain’s appeal as a top destination. BTEA CEO Sarah Buhijji emphasises that this initiative not only celebrates Manama’s title but also aims to boost tourism year-round.

A Passport to Adventure

The Tourist Passport offers access to 18 different attractions across Manama. From cultural and historical sites to beaches, dining spots, and shopping hubs, this passport is your key to exploring the city’s best. Each site you visit earns you digital stamps, increasing your chances of winning fantastic monthly prizes.

Prizes include luxurious two-night stays in Bahrain for families or couples, covering accommodation, meals, spa treatments, and beach access. Additional perks like hotel vouchers and shopping mall gift cards make the experience even more rewarding.

Tourists can collect their passports at key locations like Bahrain International Airport, City Centre Bahrain Mall, or The Avenues. Each attraction has a QR code that, when scanned, adds a digital stamp to your passport, boosting your chances of winning in the monthly draws.

Dive into Manama’s Treasures

With the Tourist Passport, you can explore a rich array of sites. Highlights include:

Manama Souq and Bab Al Bahrain: Experience the bustling markets and traditional Bahraini architecture.
