So, it isn’t surprising to see a rise in gluten-free, sugar-free, low-calorie and vegan ice creams hitting the market. But if you stand in the shoes of an ice cream shop owner, it can get tough offering all these different varieties of ice creams while maintaining their delicious taste, creamy texture and hitting the right consistency.

A video posted by Instagrammer @my_very_secret_garden_ shows an ice cream shop counter filled with various ice cream flavours. One of the flavours is the “New 100% Vegan Ice Cream.” The label promises this vegan ice cream flavour to be sugar-free, lactose-free, calorie-free and egg-free. So, what’s this flavour all about? And can it meet all the claims it promised? Well, it’s ice cubes! An ice cream vendor is seen scooping ice cubes and putting them into a plastic sundae cup.

Needless to say, this video has left foodies chuckling and it has garnered over 15 million views. Thousands of people have shared their reactions and hilarious comments in the comments section. @hendy_tan21 comments that since ice cubes have frozen bacteria this “ice cream flavour” isn’t vegan. Another joked that it’s priced double as it’s organic. Few other Netizens told the vendor to add “taste-free” and “gluten-free” to the labelling. “Can someone give this man a medal?” asked another. “Add no happiness too”, said another.

A restaurateur said he felt like serving people ice cubes in his restaurant when they come with numerous dietary demands.
