Mumbai International Airport is one of India’s most bustling airports welcoming around a lakh passengers daily. A recently released press note focused on the growth of numbers reported at the airport premises. It witnessed a spectacular passenger traffic of more than 4.36 million in the past month.

The record of over 4.36 million passengers reported a 42 per cent surge in comparison to April 2022. It also marked a rise of 9 per cent in comparison to April 2023. With such impressive numbers of both domestic and overseas travellers, the Mumbai International Airport continued its growth in the previous month as well.

The best part is that it is on a great path to recovery in comparison to the pre-pandemic times. Considering the numbers seen in April 2019, the last month witnessed a recovery rate of 131 per cent. Some of the major factors behind the uptick in passenger figures and convenient experiences are incredible infrastructure and huge air connectivity options to many places, including both within India and abroad.
