A Redditor shared an incident where the middle-seat plane passenger refused to get up to let him pass by to use the toilet. According to the Reddit post on the “Am I The A**hole?” subreddit, a man explained how he booked a window seat while travelling recently. For context, he explained that he is a “big guy” and needs some extra space that he figured he’d get while travelling on a window seat. This decision didn’t turn out to be great for him as the lady in the middle seat refused to get up to let him pass by to use the toilet.

The Redditor mentions that he got a couple of “nature’s calls” during the flight and the lady in the middle seat “politely refused to get up.” Meanwhile, the lady in the aisle was more than accommodating to him. So, to not make the lady in the middle seat uncomfortable, the guy sucked in his gut and held his breath while passing by to minimise contact with the lady. But let’s be honest, no matter how thin you are, some contact is inevitable when you try to brush past anyone on a plane!
