It’s no secret that food deliveries have become an indispensable part of our lives. So, goof-ups on orders or unsatisfactory meals can certainly leave you disappointed. This time, a man took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his food delivery grievance. He received a sealed empty glass instead of the lime soda ordered on Swiggy. Here’s what happened next.

Not ₹120 Lime Soda, Man Received Sealed Empty Glass Instead

X user Aaraynsh shared a picture of sealed empty plastic glass on X. The glass has a tightly secured lid, making it ideal for comfortably drinking beverages. In the caption, Aaraynsh thanked Swiggy for sending him a sealed empty glass. And said he hoped his lime soda would come in another order .@SwiggyCares, the customer care page of Swiggy asked the X user to share his order ID, so they can look into the matter.

But Aaraynsh mentioned that the issue was resolved. However, despite paying a total amount of ₹120 for the lime soda, the food delivery app only extended a refund of ₹80 to him. So, this left him quite disappointed. But when Netizens asked him why he bought lime soda for ₹120 in the first place, he cheekily replied that his company billed it. The Internet didn’t leave a second to bombard the comments section with hilarious memes and reactions.

Netizens Joke That Drink Could Be Invisible Or Made In Hogwarts

One commented that the lime soda evaporated. Another speculates that it could have been made in Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry from the Harry Potter novels. An X user also joked that this tweet could have been sponsored by Swiggy’s competitor Zomato. Perhaps it was a sugar-free drink, fit for people who are dieting, commented another man. With scorching hot summers in Delhi and Gurugram, many hilariously came to the conclusion that the drink evaporated.
