Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building on May 28. This new building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Recently, the PM himself paid this new building a surprise visit and closely inspected its construction progress. Well, to commemorate this inauguration, the Ministry of Finance announced that a special ₹75 coin would be launched.
The Minting Of ₹75 Coin
India is celebrating 75 years of independence, and launch of ₹75 coin, a commemorative coin is like a tribute to that. This coin will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, the same day when the new Parliament Building will be inaugurated.
One side of this new coin will have ‘Satyameva Jayate’ written below the Lion Capital of the Ashoka Pillar. The word India will be written on the right side, and the word Bharat in Devanagari script will be written on the left. Just below the Lion capital, the coin will also feature a rupee symbol and the denomination 75 in international numerals.
The other side of the coin will feature an image of the Parliament building. On the upper outer edge of this side, the words Sansad Sankul will be written in Devnagari script. The lower outer edge will have Parliament Complex written in English. (As per NDTV.com)

Four-Part Alloy Coin
The 35-gram coin will be in a circular shape, and the diameter will be 44 millimetres. Around its edges, it will have 200 serrations. It is made from a four-part alloy that includes 40% copper, 5% zinc, 50% silver, and 5% nickel.
The construction was completed by Tata Projects Limited. HCP Design, an Ahmedabad-based company, created it. The Times of India said that the new parliament building’s Lok Sabha will be able to accommodate 888 people.
There will be 300 seats available in the Rajya Sabha. Additionally, the joint session will be held at the Lok Sabha Hall, which has a capacity for 1280 members in total.
The old parliament building was completed in 1927 and is more than 100 years old. It will now be conserved as a heritage building.
