The Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah’s LAO restaurant is hosting a weekend-long celebration of the Chinese New Year. A four-course dinner with chicken dumplings, fish wrapped in lotus, and more is available to guests. The festivities start on Friday, January 20 through Sunday, January 22 for Dhs299 per person. From 6 to 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, guests can also take in a customary lion dance.

9. Expo City Is Drapped In Red & Golden For The Chinese New Year Parade

The big parade takes up a substantial portion of the events in Expo City. You can view 20 floats that are marching in the parade. 2,500 people will be present in Expo City on January 14, 2023. The festival will offer a wonderful display of Chinese culture as well as entertainment from acrobats and parade bands.

A few of the other entertaining activities scheduled for the Chinese New Year parade include festival booths, Chinese food stalls, street performances, and games.
