A 22-year-old man in Goa who worked at Manohar International Airport was allegedly involved in a serious legal situation after making a hoax call about a bomb planted at the airport. As the authorities diligently looked into the concerning call, it soon became clear that the bomb threat was unfounded and that the alarm had been false. Soon, the attention turned to finding and arresting the person who made it. Later, the Mopa police were successful in tracing the hoax call back to a man named Kundan Kumar. Kumar was working at the airport where the traumatic call had been made at the time of the incident.
According to reports, Kumar, a Bihar native, acknowledged making the call while intoxicated during questioning. His admission revealed the reasoning behind the upsetting deed, which has now gotten him into legal trouble. Later, Kundan Kumar was accused of violating several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in a First Information Report (FIR) that was filed against him. Inciting fear or alarm in the public was covered by Section 505(1)(b) and criminal intimidation was covered by Section 506(ii). Criminal intimidation through anonymous communication was covered by Section 507.

Following his admission, law enforcement swiftly detained Kumar, and additional inquiries were conducted to delve further into the purpose and ramifications of the hoax call. The authorities vowed to carry out a thorough investigation to make sure that such careless actions with potential consequences for public safety were not left unpunished.
