And no, we aren’t talking about drive-in theaters! So, here’s where you can watch your favorite film under the stars or by the beach in Dubai. Book before its gone!
1. Zero Gravity
Watch your favorite Cinema on the Sand at Zero Gravity in Dubai Marina. Movie buffs can watch their favorite flick on sun loungers, while binging on popcorn, nachos, veggie spring rolls, chilli cheesy fries and more. 2. Radisson Red
Ring in the New Year with cinema under the stars at Radisson Red, located near Dubai Digital Park lake. The screening will take place on 31 December and 1 January. Guests can enjoy family-friendly animated classics like Polar Express, Ice Age, and Toy Story from 5 pm onwards. Enjoy live firework show and celebrations from around the world just when its time for the New Year countdown.
Even better, there’s a special line up for the New Year. The pop-up cinema turns doggie friendly with Lady and The Tramp on 1 January, at 6pm followed by 101 Dalmantions at 8pm. Entry is free for everyone.

3. Snow Cinema, Ski Dubai
Ski Dubai has teamed up with Vox Cinemas to bring to you a one-of-a-kind experience. Movie buffs can now watch films from the snowy slopes until the end of February. There are shows back-to-back starting from 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. So, pick your favourite film and get ready for a snowy experience.

Ski Dubai has an interesting line up of films coming your way. The list includes the Grinch, Frozen 2 and Daddy’s Home 2 as well as some recent releases such as Knives Out and The Call of the Wild. The crystal clear images and vivid colours on the big screen will transport you into the movie. All you need to do is put on your headsets, tune into 90.7 frequency and adjust the volume as per your comfort.
The ticket prices start from AED 100 and includes VOX Cinemas’ delicious popcorn and indulge in Ski Dubai’s signature hot chocolate. And if your’e wondering how to stay warm in the chill, don’t worry! Beanies, blankets and heaters will be strategically placed in front of each couch. As for social distancing, acrylic dividers are installed between seats for added comfort and peace of mind.
Lastly, if you wish to watch the movie in private, opt for a private chalet. The VIP chalet can accommodate up to 4 guests that comes with a 2-course meal from North 28 Restaurant.
VOX Cinemas’ blockbusters and Ski Dubai’s snowy winter land are available to guests all year round. So, no matter what the season is, the show (and the snow) will go on!

Vox cinema has launched their outdoor cinema experience at Aloft, City Center Deira. Enjoy your favourite flick under the glittering stars with food and beverage being delivered to your seat. The theatre is safe and sanitized, so you don’t have to worry about safety precautions.
