Hacks To Save Big Money On Flight Tickets

1. Always Book Your Flights On Sundays

This one is a tried and tested method; flights, when booked on Sundays, are 5-10% cheaper. Book in the incognito mode and try getting the booking done in the first half this way- you will save some amount on the tickets. And if Sunday isn’t good to book, book on Saturday- however, never book your tickets on a Monday. The flight rates are 15% higher than on Sunday, and you don’t want to spend the extra money, right?

2. Use Incognito Mode For Booking

You can track the flight using multiple windows- however while making the final booking ensure that you use Incognito mode only. All websites can track our data with the cookies they use, and hence to create an urgency, they scare you into booking the tickets immediately by increasing the fares. And to avoid the situation, book using incognito mode, since here your browsing history can’t be tracked hence they cannot increase the price to create the urgent demand.

3. For Domestic Flights Book A Month In Advance

If you know the destination and are sure enough to travel, booking your domestic tickets a month prior is necessary. The longer you wait, the more you pay. So, book a month in advance and save some serious amount on the flight tickets.

4. Book One Way Ticket First

You may think that a round trip will help you save a lot of money, but the truth is, booking one-way tickets can be cheaper at times. So instead of booking the round trip tickets, book one way first, compare the prices, check other sites, and book the return ticket. Budget airlines are cheaper when you look for a one-way flight; hence booking one-way tickets will save you money for sure.

5. Don’t Book From One Site

When you have finalized your destination and dates, don’t pick one website to make the bookings. Using incognito mode, compare prices on at least 5-7 websites, look for deals they have to offer, analyse the price for a week, and when you are confident about the website, make the final payment.

So, who is ready to save some big bucks?
