1. Grover Zampa Vineyards

Three generations of the Grover family have been running the Grover Zampa Vineyards, which is now a premier wine brand today. Grover Vineyards is located 40 kilometers north of Bangalore in Karnataka. Spread over 410 hectares, Grover Vineyards is known for producing some of the best Shiraz oak-aged red wines and Cabernet Sauvignon in the country.

2. Fratelli Vineyards and Winery

Known for producing the nation’s best red wine, Fratelli’s main vineyard lies in Solapur. Apart from its main vineyard there, Fratelli operates in two regions; Garhwal and Motewadi. Like others, these regions are blessed with lush landscapes and are open to wine lovers for tours and wine tastings. Experience over 240 hectares of beautiful expansive vineyards and soak in the vibes.

3. Four Seasons Winery

Nestled against the scenic backdrop of the Western Ghats of Baramati, Four Seasons Vineyards is a palatial building with stunning architecture and varietals made from fragrant grapes. The best time to visit is from January to April when you can observe the entire winemaking process.

4. Chateau Indage Vineyard

Located near the Sahyadri valley in Naryangaon amidst lush landscapes, Château Indage Vineyards produces the finest Indian wines. It was founded in 1982 by Shyamrao Chowgule. It has three facilities — Narayangaon, Nashik, and Himachal Pradesh. With around 32 wines, there’s something for everyone to taste, from novices to wine connoisseurs. Two-hour wine tours are offered on weekends, followed by wine tasting and fine dining at the winery’s Ivy Café and Bar.

5. Soma Vineyards

Soma Vineyards is probably the most beautiful winery in Karnataka. You can spend hours watching the hills and the spectacular sunset over Makali hill.
