It’s hardly a point of contention that education is an important factor in one’s life. After all, a good education allows people to move ahead in their lives and do better for themselves. In some cases, there are some children who might not have the good fortune to be able to attend school due to the financial situation of the family. So, to help out some, Dubai Care organised a massive drive, wherein more than 500 volunteers came together to pack school supplies for children on Saturday. Here’s all about the heartwarming initiative.

500+ Volunteers Gather To Pack School Supplies In Dubai

Dubai Cares along with DP World did something absolutely wonderful for children from low-income families in the United Arab Emirates. As a part of their back-to-school edition, more than 500 volunteers came together on World Humanitarian Day, which takes place on August 19 to support children in the country. For this event, 7000 school kits were assembled as the new academic year begins in a few days. According to a report by Dubai Media Office, this initiative saw volunteers of different nationalities and ages participate together at Jafza One Convention Centre in the emirate for assembling school supplies. Yes, this included school backpacks and stationery items like erasers, sharpness, ball pens, pencils and notebooks.

Not The Only Initiative In The Recent Days

With this initiative, the aim is to help children from low-income backgrounds and even orphans in attending or even studying at school. It should be noted that the distribution of the school kits will be carried out together with Al Ihsan Charity Association, Al Etihad Charity Foundation, and Hemaya School.

Moreover, this initiative hardly comes as a surprise as authorities in Dubai are constantly trying to organise community initiatives. Yes, it so happens that Dubai Customs has already organised 80 community initiatives during the first half of 2023. As a result, the benefits were extended to as many as 2,90,000 beneficiaries from different walks of life in Dubai.

Doesn’t it seem absolutely wonderful to be able to help others when you can do so? Well, there is something absolutely fantastic about having the opportunity to help people. So, make sure to volunteer next time, if you can!
