Well, different people will have various approaches to this, but there’s a recent travel survey that focuses on how astrology is playing its role among travel enthusiasts. Skyscanner recently released a report about stars affecting Indian travellers’ behaviours and we are so excited to share all the findings.
What Does The Skyscanner Survey Reveal?
Among the 140 crores of the population in India, major numbers of Indians believe in astrology and consider taking a look at the stars before making crucial decisions and taking important steps. Faith in astrology plays a massive role in decision-making among travellers. According to the Skyscanner report, 88 per cent of people in India follow astrology for foremost purposes such as travel plans.
Travel Trends Report for 2024 by Skyscanner found that more than 70 per cent of travellers travel for food. 93 per cent of Aquarians choose travel destinations based on the cuisine of that location. Looks like taste buds have a major hold on Aquarians! 82 per cent of Sagittarius are inclined towards experiencing unusual and adventurous food preferences. In fact, they are interested in planning holidays to offbeat destinations just to gorge on authentic and not-so-famous delicacies.
The Travel Trends survey also revealed how over 50 per cent of Indian travel enthusiasts love to plan their vacations by taking inspiration from movies and sometimes even fashion trending choices. 55 per cent of Capricorns are enthusiastic to book tickets to destinations captured in their loved movies and series. And Capricorns head to Pisces counterparts to take inspo and select the destination. In fact, 74 per cent of Sagittarians plan their airport looks from the viral trends.

Let’s talk about the travellers who love everything pre-planned. Well, Virgos are the supreme ones when it comes to having proper itineraries with planned activities. More than 50 per cent of them choose to prepare itineraries with the perfect blend of activities and leisure time before going somewhere. Travel anxiety is a real problem and 48 per cent of Scorpios become anxious while taking a flight.
Skyscanner Report Shared Some Important Travel Preferences As Well
Do you know that 53 per cent of Indian travellers go on vacation with the thought of finding the love of life and playing cupid? Well, the travel survey revealed so! Over 50 per cent of Aries, Capricorns, and Libras go on holiday in the pursuit of finding the special someone. On the other hand, many Leos, Capricorns, and Scorpios love to drink and enjoy booze. And they choose to spend relaxing trips by the beach.
Cancerians are quite focused on reaching on time and they prefer waking up early in the morning. About 57 per cent of them choose to board flights between 12 AM and 6 AM. Red-eye flights are actually a great idea as the demand is less and so is the price. If you wish to go on a pocket-friendly vacation, this seems like an amazing deal to save some money.
