70-Year Old Woman Jumps Into Haridwar Ganga And Swims With Ease; Internet In Awe

The Ganga river is India’s most sacred holy body that attracts devotees from across the country. Hindus believe that taking a dip in the holy waters of Ganga will help them wash off their sins and cleanse their soul. Well, a 70-year-old woman went the extra mile by jumping into the Ganga river from the Haridwar bridge and swimming away with ease.

Elderly Woman Jumps Into Ganga River From Haridwar Bridge

A viral video posted by UP police officer Sachin Kaushik on Twitter has been taking the internet by storm. It shows a 70-year-old woman crossing over the fence of the Haridwar bridge and jumping into the Ganga water from a great height. The elderly woman courageously dives into the water and then swims away with ease. She comfortably swam and reached the shore where other devotees were seen praying.

They applauded her and even joked that perhaps she drank Mountain Dew. Others commented that Dadi proves that age is just a number.
