Haridwar Gets Stunning Mythology-Themed Graffiti On Walls Before Kumbh Mela

In India, the graffiti art form is still evolving. Modern graffiti art came to prominence in 2001, and there has been no stopping the movement since then. But graffiti art is altogether a different ball game which involves scaling tall buildings and working secretly at night. Nevertheless, artists have turned Haridwar into a mythology-themed city with colourful wall graffiti to make devotees aware of its significance in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.

The Graffiti Art Will Depict Indian Mythology

The graffiti art campaign is called “Paint My City”, run by the Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority. The walls in Haridwar are being painted on Hindu mythology, in light of Maha Kumbh Mela. The graffiti art depicting mythology will develop feelings and faith in people’s hearts. They will also play a role in generating religious belief in people. People flocking to the Kumbh Mela will be able to admire and enjoy the classic art form. Delhiites Give Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station A Makeover.
