Curly Tales veteran Radhikka Madan joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a fun-filled Tere Gully Mein episode. Delish South Indian food was gorged. Speciality coffee, sipped and candid conversations spilt. While playing a game of ‘Steal it or Leave it’, Radhikka had to choose between a first-class world tour or a year of free gourmet food. Here’s what she chose.

Radhikka Madan Chooses Travel Over Gourmet Food

At Tanjore Tiffin, over a sumptuous spread of South Indian delicacies like podi idli, dosa, lemon rice and more, Kamiya Jani asked Radhikka Madan if she’d steal a first-class world tour or a year of free gourmet food. Instantly, the actress replied, “world tour”. Kamiya totally agreed with the actress’s answer and emphasised that a girls’ tour was a must. Radhikka revealed that while travelling in general, she ends up becoming dependent on others. And gets a bit lazy about taking actions.

When she travels with her girlfriends, they all take the initiative to plan the trip, make bookings, and more. She feels empowered as she has to call taxis herself, negotiate with travel stakeholders and more. She confesses to returning from girls’ trips secured and recharged. Despite being a foodie, Radhikka chose world tours over gourmet food. And that says a lot about her love for travel. So, which was her last trip with her girlfriends? Radhikka said it was a trip to Krabi, an island in Thailand. She went snorkelling, trekked across plantains.

The Actress Loves Coffee & South Indian Food

The avid traveller also jetted off to Rajasthan once with her travel companions, so it all depends on her mood. Apart from a feast at Tanjore Tiffin, we also stopped by at Subko, Radhikka’s favourite coffee spot, for a cup of Iced Latte which the actress likes with almond milk.
