Abu Dhabi Adds Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia And Kuwait To It’s Green List

The UAE and Qatar recently signed an agreement on January 5, 2021, to restore ties between the countries. Post that, the UAE opened its land, sea and air borders for Qatar and will soon resume flights to and from the emirate. And now as per the latest news, Qatar is a part of Abu Dhabi’s updated green list. The capital has a list of countries from which travellers can enter the emirate without following the quarantine process.

Us Oman Without Visa

Besides Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia And Kuwait Are Also A Part Of The List 

When it comes to the green list, besides Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have been added to the list recently. The record, which gets updated in every two weeks now has 17 countries on it. Whereas countries like Australia, Greece, Greenland, Malaysia and Singapore are removed from the list. Countries like China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Macao, Mauritius, Brunei, etc. are a part of the record.

Abu Dhabi Updates Covid-19 Travel Rules For Travellers 

Inclusion in Abu Dhabi’s travel list is dependent on the latest developments regarding a country’s Covid-19 protocols and guidelines. The record was last updated on Saturday, January 9.

Well, Abu Dhabi not only has a green list, but it has also updated its travel guidelines for travellers. All international travellers will now have to present a negative PCR test result and take a second PCR test upon entering the capital. Travellers from the green list don’t need to isolate after receiving the negative result, but isolation from other countries is a must. Besides that, people staying in the capital must take a PCR test six days after their arrival, and then again on day 12 of their visit, this is for people staying for 12 days or longer.
