A year long food fest is happening now in Abu Dhabi and apart from treating foodies to new flavours, the culinary fest also broke a Guinness world record. The Abu Dhabi Culinary teamed up with UK’s Pan-n-Ice to make ice cream history in the UAE. On 2 July, it broke the Guinness World Record title for “most varieties of ice cream on display.” Isn’t that super cool? Read on for more!
Abu Dhabi Culinary Sets World Record With 1,001 Ice Cream Flavours
How many flavors does it take to break a Guiness World Records title? Well, Abu Dhabi Culinary had a whopping 1,001 ice cream flavours on display. The event took place in Yas Mall’s Pearl Court and had some truly unique flavors including apple and chocolate wafer; banana and pistachio; blueberries and Kitkat; cherry & Nutella; granola; chocolate Nesquick and Lotus biscoff; and Strawberry shortbread and Flake. We’re already drooling!
Visitors who hopped into the Yas Mall had an opportunity to satiate their sweet tooth by getting their hands on over 1000 flavours of ice creams. Shortly after the event, Abu Dhabi Culinary was handed the Guinness World Record certificate.
