Abu Dhabi Residents Can Now Book Uber

After the two-year absence, Uber is returning to the capital from 19 November 2018. 

What Is It? 

The famous taxi service app Uber is finally returning to Abu Dhabi after a two-year absence. The company confirms that Uber rides will be made available in the capital from 19th November. Riders can start booking their rides from 12:30 pm. The ban on restriction on services has finally been uplifted by the UAE transport bosses. The Uber rides will cost almost the same as the standard taxis with the minimum fare being AED 12. But soon Uber will have a competition in Abu Dhabi as the homegrown taxi service app Careem is also planning to extend its services in Abu Dhabi soon. Currently, Careem only operates in Dubai
