Mumbai’s weather can be quite temperamental, especially when it comes to the monsoons. You would think that in the month of October, we would have put the rain showers behind us but the weather continues to surprise us. But with the rains becoming more and more infrequent, it calls for partying and finally having rooftop parties.
The guys at the Four Seasons have heard our prayers and their rooftop bar, AER-Bar & Lounge is finally opening up to the public after their monsoon hiatus. You know what that means. It’s time to get your party shoes on and dance the night away while you sip on some of their brand new cocktails and feast on tapas.
What’s New At AER?
The thing that we are most excited about the lounge reopening is their new range of cocktails. They have done a refreshing new take on the Bloody Mary with the drink getting by introducing ajwain into the mix. Now, ajwain is unheard of in a Bloody Mary but we’ll drink it because it actually tastes really good. The other drink that got us really excited was All The Bitters. The gin-based cocktail comes with kasoori methi infused in it. All the drinks have a whacky element in them and they all seem to work surprisingly well together. But if you are a stickler for the conventional drinks then you can indulge in AER’s classic cocktails which include the B-Fashioned, Singleton of Glendullan and more.
And the foodies needn’t worry because there’s an array of bar bites to choose from. Right from Spanish tapas to gourmet Asian small bites, there is something for everyone at AER. So, absolutely no one gets left out.
If you have been stricken with despair with the monsoon putting a dampener on your sundowners and late-night partying while you watch the sunset on Mumbai’s skyline then it all ends now.
