Airfares of India-bound flights from UAE witness a surge. With UAE National Day long weekend approaching, many Indians are trying to go back home for a holiday. As a result of higher demand for flights on this route, the price is soaring upto Dhs2500. December remains the busiest month for airlines as people belonging to Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India, travel back home for holidays.

UAE National Day falls on December 2, Friday. Between December 1 and December 4, residents will enjoy a brief hiatus. Following the holiday weekend, the start of the winter break for students will commence on December 11. The holidays according to the schedule will remain until January 2, 2023. The mentioned route currently shows one-way tickets cost as much as Dh2,500.

Tickets to Kannur, South India from UAE will cost Dh350 for a one-way ticket in November. But recent rates suggest Dh700 for the same route over the December holiday weekend.
