An extremely unfortunate incident shook the entire country when an Air India Express flight crashed at Kozhikode airport claiming the lives of 19 passengers and two pilots. Recently, another Air India Express Flight carrying 64 passengers survived in what could have been a terrifying incident. The flight lost control and hit an electric pole while landing at the Vijayawada International Airport in Andhra Pradesh’s Gannavaram. However, all passengers and crew are safe.
Another Air India Express Flight Made An Emergency Landing
Meanwhile, the airline has asked for an investigation of the matter. Air India Express needs to perform checks in all its aircrafts as another terrible incident was averted on an express flight from Sharjah to Kozhikode with 112 passengers on board. The aircraft had to make an emergency landing at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport due to a snag in its hydraulic system. Air India Express To Carry Flight Investigations
In the Air India Express flight from flight from Sharjah to Kozhikode, the airport officials said that flight there was the risk of landing at the table-top runway of Kozhikode airport. This is why the aircraft was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram. With multiple Vande Bharat flights, Air India Express must perform serious checks to ensure passenger safety.
