If you’ve been waiting to travel to Saudi Arabia, then here’s some good news for you. Air India has resumed bookings on international flights from India to Saudi Arabia. Passengers can book tickets through the Air India website, booking offices, call centres and authorised agents. The resumption of international flights to Saudi Arabia comes after Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) relaxed travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers from India. Air India Resumes Flights To Saudi Arabia

Air India has opened bookings from India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA). The state carrier tweeted that before booking tickets, passengers must carefully read the travel guidelines. The airline further informed that it’s the sole responsibility of the passengers to check and ensure their eligibility to enter the destination country of Saudi Arabia. The GCC country had earlier banned flights from India due to the rising Covid-19 cases amid the second wave. With restrictions lifted for fully vaccinated travellers from India, read on to know all the SOPs before travelling.

Here Are SOPs & Guidelines To Travel To Saudi Arabia

  • Only Iqama holders or residence permit holders with valid exit, re-entry visa, who are fully vaccinated with 2 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia before departure from the Kingdom, are permitted to travel
  • All passengers must confirm that they are fully vaccinated from Saudi Arabia, before check-in, with their vaccine certificate and health passport uploaded on the Tawakalna mobile app.
  • Travellers must carry their fully vaccinated Covid-19 certificate while travelling
  • Passengers must mandatorily register their immunization data on the Muqeem website.
  • RT-PCR test taken from an  ICMR accredited laboratory with a QR code, 72 hours before boarding is compulsory
