Bholaa is one of the most awaited Bollywood movies of the year. Directed by Ajay Devgn, this is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Gajraj Rao and other talented actors, the power-packed trailer pretty much blew everyone’s minds. And now the brainchild behind Bholaa, Ajay Devgn, shared stunning pictures from the shoot where he experienced “overwhelming magic” in Benaras.

Ajay Devgn Shares Frames From Bholaa On Maha Shivaratri

As India celebrates Maha Shivratri, Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to share breathtaking stills from his upcoming film Bholaa. In his caption, he reveals that sometimes a director yearns, and waits for a mesmerising frame. And one day it just happens. He recollects the time when he filmed the Maha Aarti sequence for Bholaa. At that time, the actor-director felt an “overwhelming magic” which he describes as something that can only be “experienced” and rarely articulated.

He goes on to say that the “spiritual energy” of Benaras and the “electrifying aura” of people unite in one frame. While shooting the Maha Aarti sequence for Bholaa, the crowd chanted ‘Har Har Mahadev’. At that time, Ajay Devgn describes feeling an unmatchable power of the divine enveloping him. So, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the actor shared some of the most special frames from his movie Bholaa. He urged everyone to seek the magic within and only then can one see it.

The Pictures Are Mesmerising

The pictures shared by Ajay Devgn are simply mesmerising. It shows the actor at the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, performing Maha Aarti. In the dark night sky, the bright yellow of the diyas reverberates. He stands in front of a Shiva linga and does abhisheka, in deep devotion. There are priests around him performing the Maha Aarti. It definitely shows the power and magic of one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage spots in the country.
