With the Ram Mandir inauguration soon, Ayodhya is all set to be one of the biggest pilgrimage destinations in the country. That’s why after IndiGo and Air India Express, Akasa Air has added Ayodhya as their newest route. From 15th February, Akasa Air will operate daily through flights between Pune and Ayodhya via Delhi to enhance connectivity with the cities. Read on for all the details.
New Route To Connect People Spiritually With Ayodhya
Akasa Air has added Ayodhya as the 18th destination to its rapidly growing domestic network. The airline has introduced a new route that will operate daily through flights between Pune and Ayodhya via Delhi. This route will require no change of aircraft in Delhi and will help passengers from the two major cities connect easily with Ayodhya.
The airline has introduced daytime travel during prime hours for the convenience of the passengers. So, for now, the flights will start from 8:50 AM from Pune, will arrive by 10:55 AM in Delhi; will take off for Ayodhya at 11:35 AM, and arrive by 12:55 PM. The flight from Ayodhya will take off at 1:35 PM, reach Delhi by 3:05 PM, and finally arrive in Pune by 5:50 PM.

Akasa Air’s Expanding Footprint In Domestic Network
Ever since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has already established connectivity in 18 cities, with Ayodhya being the 18th one. These cities so far include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, and Port Blair. With this growth, Akasa Air has successfully served over 6.3 million passengers. These new flights will begin in mid-February and you can book them here on their website.
This new route by Akasa Air will surely improve the connectivity to Ayodhya. And will further ease travel for the pilgrims excited to visit the religious city.
