Akasa Air has finally received a green light from the Directorate General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to officially begin its commercial operations in July. The new airline operator will begin functioning by July end. At the moment, Akasa Air has two veterans from the aviation industry in their team. The airlines will soon have two Boeing aircraft and begin operations by July. Akasa Air’s Founder and CEO Vinay Dube said he was extremely grateful to the DGCA for their guidance and will soon begin selling their flight tickets.
India’s Dependable And Sustainable Aircraft: Akasa Air
Vinay Dube said that with this Akasa Air will begin its journey towards India’s greenest, most affordable and sustainable airlines. Akasa Air announced the receipt of their Air Operator Certificate yesterday. Their first airline arrived in India on June 21, 2022. The code for their flight is QP. The airline aims to induct up to 18 aircraft by 2023 and 12 – 14 aircraft every year.

5th Biggest Airline After Indigo, SpiceJet…
Akasa Air is aiming to make flights cheaper. It is going to be the fifth biggest commercial aircraft operator after Indigo, SpiceJet, GoFirst, Air Asia India and more. However, overall Akasa will be the eighth biggest commercial airline. They will also have an overall 72 aircraft in a span of five years. Earlier, the airlines also revealed the crew uniform which is unlike the regular uniforms of other aircraft crew. Take a look –
