It’s no secret that Saudi Arabia is home to a diverse landscape with equally stunning infrastructure in the urban region. And travelling to the kingdom is bound to become easier as the kingdom is now launching a new carrier. Yes based in Riyadh, they are introducing a new national airline called Riyadh Air. Moreover, this airline is taking flight as soon as this June! Here’s all you need to know about this development related to the airline.

Riyadh Air To Take Flight This June

It was recently mentioned on the Twitter handle of Riyadh Air that their maiden flight will begin on June 12, which is this Monday. As it happens, this is a new airline by Saudi Arabia and it is going to be based in Riyadh. Expected to feature world-class hospitality and cutting-edge technology, this new airline is definitely much talked about on social media channels. As such, the Twitter post mentions that people in Riyadh must keep their eyes on the sky as Riyadh Air is going to fly at a lower altitude across the capital. In fact, this is the new national airline which will connect the kingdom to several countries. Yes, backed by the Public Investment Fund, Riyadh Air flights will gradually connect Saudi Arabia to over a hundred destinations in Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The Airline Unveils Its Brand New Livery

This update comes after recently the airline revealed its livery, which looks absolutely striking. Yes, inspired by the lavender fields of Saudi Arabia, the aeroplane is a brilliant Indigo colour. As it happens, the first Boeing 787-9 is the first aircraft in the fleet and you can clearly see Riyadh Air written across the fuselage in emboldened white letters. Moreover, a stylised capital R, which is also the carrier’s logo is designed on its tail. This is certainly eye-catching as most airlines have a white fuselage.

So, with the maiden flight happening. Super soon, we can already imagine how grand this new airline is going to be.
