Anand Mahindra Reacts To Vande Bharat Speed Trials; Calls It ‘Sound Of India’

Anand Mahindra is an avid social media user and he shares beautiful stories from all around India on his official social media platforms very often. The Chairman of the Mahindra Group expressed his appreciation post the speed trials of the Vande Bharat train. The trials of the train went great and the results turned out successful. He took to his official Twitter account to share his views on the same.

The Speed Trial Of The Vande Bharat Train Took Place Recently

It was on 18 August 2022 when Indian Railways initiated the testing of the speed trials for the Vande Bharat train in Chandigarh. The speed test trial happened between the Kota-Nagda section at 120/130/150 and 180 kmph. Ashwini Vaishnaw is the Minister of Railways and he shared a small snippet of the trial on his official Twitter handle. These trains were made by Integral Coach Factory, ICF in Chennai. These trains were manufactured for the purpose of speed testing trials. Presently, the third Vande Bharat train is in the manufacturing process and it will run between Delhi and Chandigarh.

The business tycoon appreciated the trials by sharing the video of Ashwini Vaishnaw. It seems that he is quite happy and delighted after watching the video. Anand Mahindra captioned ‘Love that sound. In the video, we can see the train’s speedometer and a view of the railway track. The train runs at a speed of 180 kmph. In the next clip, the train passes a railway station at a vast speed. The Indian Railways aims to start 75 Vande Bharat trains all around India and they are already in the process of it.

More trials will be operated in the future and with a few successful results, these trains will be eligible to run on track for passengers. These trains boast many modern features with safety procedures. The Train Collision Avoidance System is a major upgrade of safety in these trains. This will help in preventing any instances of Signal passed at danger or any overspeeding issues.
