Australia’s Apollo Beach Ranks As The Fourth Best Beach In The Country

Talk about Australia, and the pristine swathes of tropical beaches surely cross one’s mind. The country is famous across the globe for its weather, cute koalas, lush rainforests, marine reserves, and beautiful beaches. The Best Australian Beaches list for 2023 has been revealed by Tourism Australia, which ranks the best beaches the country is blessed with. Apollo Beach ranks as the fourth best beach, and this calls for drum rolls.

Apollo Beach In Australia Bags The Fourth Place

Australia’s Apollo Beach is the only Victorian beach that has made it to the top ten of the list. The beach is located in the quiet coastal town of Apollo Bay along the Great Ocean Road. The beach that ranked first on this year’s list is Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island. This is the first time a South Australian beach has won the title. Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island beat at least 12,000 beautiful beaches in Australia to win this prestigious title.

The second position was grabbed by Boomerang Beach in New South Wales. Rainbow Beach in Queensland was ranked third on the list of the best Australian beaches. The other beaches that made it to the top 10 of the list are Adventure Bay in Tasmania, Little Bondi Beach in the Northern Territory, Flying Fish Cove on Christmas Island, Hamelin Bay in Western Australia, British Admiral Beach in Tasmania, and Balmoral Beach in New South Wales.

Best Australian Beaches List 2023

Brad Farmer AM compiled the list of the best Australian beaches for 2023.He is a conservationist and advocate for the protection of the coastline. He travelled to all the beaches across the country to determine the list. Surprisingly, the expertly curated criteria for listing the beaches was the vibe each beach gave off.

Farmer said that he would visit the beach, swim there if allowed, and then talk to the locals there. He says that he is much more immersive and very emotionally invested in it. The criteria that he looks at while listing the beaches is what kind of community one is going to experience when one gets there.
