A luxury resort in Bali bans the use of gadgets near the swimming pool.

What Is It?

Bali’s Ayana Resort and Spa have banned all electronic gadgets, including smartphones, cameras and tablets near one of its swimming pools.

The reason behind the ban being the resort’s ‘In The Movement’ campaign that encourages guests to relax by playing games, reading books or swimming.

The definition of vacationing for this resort is that one should find a way to break free from the monotonous and technology. The resort wants you to feel complete peace and be unbothered by calls, messages, checking or social media fanatics.

What’s In It?

The rules of the luxury resort include no use of mobile phones or gadgets at the River Pool and the guests can safely submit their phones in the lockers and pick them up after a tech-free chill session.
