Bengalureans! PM Modi Is Set To Arrive For India Energy Week. Take Note Of This Traffic Advisory

Bengaluru, the IT hub of India, may witness peak traffic from the 6th to the 8th of February. Why? Well, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive here for the inauguration of India Energy Week. This event is a part of the G20 summit. So folks, here is the traffic advisory issued by Bengaluru Traffic Police that you will have to follow if you don’t wish to get stuck in traffic.

The Bengaluru Traffic Police has been keen on maintaining an easy flow of vehicles by setting up some rules. First, any vehicle coming from K R Puram, which is on the Outer Ring Road, will be restricted from Hebbal to Hoskote. Vehicles coming from Ballari-Bengaluru Road and Mysuru-Bengaluru Road are prohibited from entering the city.

If you are going towards Hosur and Electronics City, then you will have to take the right at Sondekoppa Cross, and travel through Sondekoppa Road and Magadi Main Road. Then you will be able to reach NICE Road. For vehicles arriving from Tumakuru (NH-48, Bengaluru-Tumakuru Road) and going towards Hyderabad and Ballari Road, they will have to take a left at Dobbaspet and reach Doddaballapur to travel further.

Also, vehicles travelling from Ballari Road to Tumakuru Road will have to take right at Devanahalli and reach Dobbspet through Doddaballapur Road. And vehicles coming from Hoskote will have to drive through Devanahalli, Doddaballapur and Budigere Cross in order to reach Dobbaspet and Tumakuru. If you are travelling from NICE Road to NH-48, you will have to drive through Magadi Main Road and take a right at Tavarekere. You will be able to reach NH-48 through Sondekoppa.

These are the following routes that you can take to avoid heavy traffic. This advisory applies from the 6th to the 8th of February.

The increasing energy demand is something India has just witnessed. The India Energy Week which is supposed to be held in Bengaluru is an international energy event supported by the Indian government. Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this event.
