New Premium BEST Buses From Thane To BKC
The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport or BEST has released a line of premium buses that will transport passengers from Thane to Bandra Kurla Complex. A total of four buses will be included in the fleet. All the buses are air-conditioned and zero-emission electric buses. The e-buses are marked by their distinctive blue colour and provide the first premium city bus service in the country.

The buses will only function from Monday to Saturday between Thane and BKC. There are two routes that the bus will cover, the express route, mainly targeted towards office-goers, and an all-day route, targeted at other travellers. The express route costs ₹250 per head and the all-day route costs ₹50. Want to save more? Customers can also get travel subscriptions that will cut costs and help them save up to 50% of their travel expenditures.
BEST Chalo Bus App
This e-bus, which is also known as the ‘BEST Chalo Bus’, will require prior reservation on the passenger’s part. The reservation can be done by downloading the Chalo App. The bus will only pick up the passenger if the reservation for a pick-up is made. One added benefit of travelling by these buses is that standing while the bus is in transit is not allowed. This means no crowded buses and no fights for seats!
