The Bangladesh Book Fair In Kolkata
The Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner, Andalib Elias, spoke about the Bangladesh Book Fair while confirming the Rice Festival. The dates for the book fair are from 2nd to 11th December 2022 and is its 10th edition. However, there is a change in the venue where the book fair was supposed to take place. College Square is going to be the venue and not Citizen’s Park. The importance of the location is that College Square is a popular hangout for publishers, academics, and even writers. It is also a junction for book lovers.

The Bangladesh Book Fair will have books from Bangladesh. This will certainly give the buyers a taste of literature from the other side of the border. Almost 60 publishers are involved in this book fair. The Deputy High Commissioner further added that he hopes this book fair will be a success like it was over the years.
Kolkata has a rich history of literature and is a hub for fans of Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, and many such iconic writers. This book fair will be no less than an amusement park for all literature enthusiasts.
