A Brief History Of Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons is the largest QSR chain in Canada. The brand is the brainchild of late Canadian ice hockey player Miles Gilbert “Tim” Horton. The first Tim Horton Doughnut Shop was launched in 1964 in Ontario. After Horton’s death in a sports car accident, the restaurant chain passed on to the hands of his business partner Ron Joyce. Later, Joyce’s son got wedded to the eldest daughter of Horton. Today, Tim Hortons is one of the most loved coffee brands in the world.
