Limited Edition UAE Flag Pizza
An artisanal Italian restaurant in Dubai’s Jumeirah is all set to celebrate UAE National Day in a totally unique manner. On December 2nd, Monno, an Emirati-owned restaurant, will proudly serve a limited edition pizza. This limited edition pizza is prepared in pure Neapolitan style and looks like the UAE flag.
The UAE flag pizza is shaped by hands, and only the finest Italian ingredients have been used in its making. The base of the pizza is made using in-house dough. The base has the traditional San Marzano DOP tomato sauce spread on it. Napoli’s creamy mozzarella fior di latte, black olives, and fresh rocket leaves are used for topping the base.
A Gesture To Express Gratitude
The pizza will cost AED 50 and be available on December 2 only for lunch and dinner. Hamad Abdelsalam, Monno’s co-founder and Emirati national, says that coming up with UAE-flag pizza is a small gesture to express gratitude and pride. He said that Monno being labelled as Emirati-owned is a matter of pride and gratitude for them.
According to Hamad, UAE National Day celebrates the nation and its people. As an Emirati, his participation in the celebrations serves as a reminder of how the country has always been so supportive of its people in all fields. Customers may anticipate the enticing and soothing aroma of freshly made pizza to greet their noses as soon as they enter Monno’s custom-built, classic pizza oven.
