Do you remember Chennai’s auto driver who was tweeted about by Industrialist Anand Mahindra? Yes, the one he called Professor of Management. Anna Durai is also known for providing varied facilities in his rickshaw. He was invited to BKC, Mumbai to conduct a motivational talk to real estate developers on Thursday. The man who is also called Auto Anna also met Mumbai’s auto drivers.
Chennai’s Auto Driver Was Invited To BKC
Industrialist Anand Mahindra tweeted about Anna Durai saying MBA students should spend a day with him. He said that they can easily learn Customer Experience Management because of his knowledge and experience. He was invited to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (CREDAI MCHI) property expo held at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Auto Anna follows only one principle which says Athithi Devo Bhava. His only focus has been on how he can bring a smile to his customer’s faces. Most auto drivers think from a short-term perspective and focus on getting the correct fare for the journey. According to him, drivers should look at the long-term perspective.
If MBA students spent a day with him it would be a compressed course in Customer Experience Management. This man’s not only an auto driver… he’s a Professor of Management. @sumanmishra_1 let’s learn from him… https://t.co/Dgu7LMSa9K

Mumbai Auto Drivers Are Best At Customer Relationships
Anna Durai before heading to the property expo met many auto drivers from Mumbai. After talking to them he felt that auto drivers in Mumbai are best at maintaining customer relationships. Maintaining customer loyalty can take any business to the next level is what he believes. He gave the example of various brands and spoke on how customer loyalty took them places. Unknowingly following the same principle where his key focus was the happiness of his customer, he won hearts. Eventually, with this, he noticed that his income too began to increase.
