Dubai removes ban on kids under 5 using adult pools. Dubai Municipality rotated an official circular to promote this new rule regarding pool access for children under certain age groups.
Supervise Kid’s Movement When In Pool
The circular to ban kids under 5 age groups in the pool came into effect on Aug 3, 2022. The initiative was a result of a mishap caused due to negligence in a hotel pool. The guidelines’ primary goal is to guard the safety of the public. Hotels in Dubai were urged to assign enough guards with the appropriate training and certifications. But with the latest update on August 30, the Dubai municipality announced certain relaxations. Hotels also need to show instructions given about the accessibility of kids to swimming pools in Arabic and English in a visible area poolside. Kids five and older in the main swimming pool area require adult supervision.
