Seeing the adverse effects of the water crisis in Bengaluru, Chiranjeevi posted on X (formerly Twitter) about how one can build eco-friendly houses that conserve water. In his post, the actor advocated for implementing rainwater harvesting systems and building an eco-friendly home to save water in the city. Moreover, he urged people to recharge wells. The actor posted his tweet in Kannada and even shared pictures of the well in his Bengaluru farmhouse.
Here’s what the actor had to say about the water crisis in Bengaluru, “As we all know, water is the most precious commodity, water scarcity makes daily life difficult. There may be a shortage of water in Bangalore today. Tomorrow can happen anywhere. So I want to use this opportunity to emphasise the need to build houses that help conserve water. Here I am sharing what I did for my farmhouse in Bangalore.”
He then went on to explain the usage of recharge wells and how they can be a better alternative to recharge pits. He further explained how he is implementing “permaculture principles” on his farmhouse in a bid to save water and make his home more eco-friendly.
