Just a week ago, Gates Hospitality and Publique Dubai announced that they would be closing their Souk Madinat venue after being open for seven years. However, the parting was never going to be a long and depressing process because they were proud flag bearers of the bon-vivant movement.
To be fair, Publique wants its goodbye to be a memorable one, a farewell song that makes you think of it in the nicest possible light. It’s always been reminiscent of a winter wonderland with strong spiritual ties to snow, warm nooks, and good cheer, as an Alpine-themed restaurant putting up an insanely excellent pot of fondue. It’s got Christmas in its essence, so for all Dubai residents, it’s a must-check item on their pleasant list in the lead-up to December 25.

Publique is celebrating by giving customers a daily chance to have a Merry Little Christmas from April 21 until April 30, when it closes. During this time, the customers will be offered turkey roast along with Christmas special beverages.
Additionally, they have an ‘All Day Every Day Festive Brunch’ package for AED225. But don’t miss their Christmas Party Brunch on April 27. A three-hour brunch package with a three-course meal and DJ for AED245, AED345 and AED 395.
There are even rumours that the cheerful Santa Claus will be making a special visit instead of taking a break from his sweatshop at the North Pole.
Gates Hospitality Closing Publique Dubai:
According to Chief Executive, Naim Maadad, Given Dubai’s changing demographics, topography, and preferences, he had to make the difficult choice regarding both locations. They felt it was time for the next chapter in the tales of Publique since, collectively, they are continuously evaluating the locations, idea delivery, branding, and pricing of their establishments.
