This ain’t your regular park picnic. When we say grandest, we mean food, cars and a lot of entertainment. This coming Sunday, January 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Safa Park in Dubai will host the return of The Grand Picnic. Seems like an ideal healthy activity for a weekend in January. The event organised by Flat12 Cafe has recorded 1900 registration this year for the picnic.
And guess what adds more glam to the picnic? The vehicles that would be parked on the lawn.Impressive? You might notice there are not only cars but also trucks and fancy motorbikes being a part of the picnic.

You can enter for free to this picnic. But if you want to bring along your supercar to showcase at the park, then it would cost you Dhs3 for parking.
The park will be arranging packed lunchboxes to take on the meadows and get the feel of a picnic. But if you believe in eating fresh then don’t fret as there will be multiple stalls that can help you with a variety of dishes. Food brands like Ugly Noodles, My Pekoe, Lit Pizza, Flat12Cafe and more will be whipping some fresh food for you. Thinking to save some bucks? Pack your own picnic baskets and bring them to the park.
The last notice that Grand Picnic announced was, owners of the car can dress up matching the era of the car. This will just add an oomph factor to the whole setup. But ofcourse it’s just an idea you can implement.
