Bengaluru-based music composer Ricky Kej posted a video on his Twitter that got mixed reactions from the Netizens. Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej was unpleasantly surprised to find a cockroach on his IndiGo flight.
“A cockroach travelling with us on @IndiGo6E flight 6E2064 from Patna to Delhi on the 13th of October. I am sure it got a complimentary meal”, Ricky Kej tweeted, tagging both IndiGo and the Civil Aviation Authority.

In response to his tweet, the airline said that although cleaning and fumigation take place before each flight, insects can invade the plane at times. “Mr Kej, while stringent cleaning and fumigation is done before every flight, at times, these insects find a way inside.” The airline stated that if incidents like these occur, passengers can contact the crew.

The Video Got A Lot Of Attention From The Netizens

The tweet already received much attention and humourous replies before the airline tackled the topic.
One user sarcastically called it “a perfect example of coexistence”. Another user commented, “Something very unusual on Indigo. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was on another airline.”
“Hope it didn’t end up as a complimentary meal.”, commented a third.

Kej Once Slammed The Bengaluru International Airport Too
In May, the Indian-American-born composer had to wait in line for over an hour and he criticized the “pathetic state of immigration” at Bengaluru International Airport. He added that the long queues at the airport paint a bad image of India, and made several suggestions for streamlining immigration procedures.
