During this time of the Coronavirus pandemic, the world has somewhat come together. With all of us sailing in the same boat, the UAE has exhibited a strong sense of unity. After the Burj Khalifa sent out #stayhome messages, hotels all around the Dubai are displaying hearts, on their building windows. These glowing hearts are in support of all the communities battling the Covid 19 world pandemic.

Last evening hotels in the city turned off all lights, illuminating only certain lights on windows of the hotel. This was, in an effort to create the worldwide symbol of love. The effort is part of a global initiative, inspiring love and hopes to all those suffering during these pressing times. The powerful yet simple form of commutation represents unity, support and encouragement for all. Many residents who saw the beautiful symbol glowing all over Dubai, took to their social media pages to display it.

Dubai is a hub of towering buildings and luxurious hotels. So what better way to show support? Every hotel was lit up with a symbol of tolerance, love, and support. That’s the way we do things here in the United Arab Emirates!

The speedy rise in the number of COVID-19 cases has compelled people worldwide to stay indoors and maintain social distancing. While people are apart physically, the unison of hearts is extremely vital to keep everyone going. The glowing hearts on the hotel facades, which are being called the “Niagara Heart of Hope”, are symbolic of the millions of hearts praying and hoping together for the crisis to end soon.
